Sessions are typically about 55 minutes to one hour long. Starting weekly or bi‑weekly helps build strong momentum so you can begin feeling more emotionally grounded and confident in between sessions. As you progress and gain coping skills, we may shift to once-a-month check-ins if that feels good for you.

Yes—choose what feels safest and most accessible: in-person in West Dearborn (22332 Garrison) or virtual throughout Michigan. This flexibility supports your comfort and consistency in healing.

Yes. I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, HAP, Priority Health and UnitedHealthcare. I do not accept Medicaid at this time. If you prefer to pay out of pocket, my rate is $140 per session. I also a sliding scale fee for those who cannot afford the traditional cost of therapy and/or may lose their insurance during therapy. My goal is to ensure financial barriers are not a barrier to your healing process.

It’s very normal to feel nervous, especially if this is your first time in therapy. I understand that most people do not come to therapy as a first choice. My role is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you throughout the entire process. Just know that you are the expert in your own life and you are always in control of what you share and how you share it. 

Many people come to therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. I believe therapy can be helpful not only for those who are struggling but also those who need additional support, want preventive measures to stay mentally well, and those who seek to better understand themselves on an emotional and psychological level. 

Progress can look different for everyone. Over time, you may notice that you recover from difficult emotions with more ease, respond to stress in healthier and more effective ways, or feel more connected to yourself and your relationships. I will regularly check in on your goals to ensure therapy is supporting the growth you are seeking and that you are being challenged in a way that makes sense for you. 

If you need to cancel within 24 hours, there’s a $50 fee; no-shows are $75. On a case-by-case basis, fees may be waived.
